As announced at Sdcc, Season 3 has been officially titled as Anne Rice's The Vampire Lestat. This hints at the shift in the series, which saw its first two seasons take inspiration from author Anne Rice's first novel. That story focused primarily on the relationship between Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) and Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid); Louis recounted the story to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian).

There will be more Dark Winds on AMC.

The network has renewed the thriller for a fourth season. The news comes ahead of the premiere of its third season on March 9.

Season 4 of the series, which stars Zahn McClarnon, will begin filming in Santa Fe, Nm, in March and will air in 2026.

Much like Season 3, it will consist of eight episodes. Seasons 1 and 2 had six episodes each.

The news is not a huge surprise given the boost that Dark Winds seems to have gotten from its airing on Netflix. The first two seasons of the show are currently on the streamer and after they dropped in August, they remained in Netflix’s top 10 for over three weeks. Dark Winds also aired on Warner Bros. Discovery’s Max as part of a two-month pop-up in 2023.

Season four will also feature the directorial debut of star and exec producer McClarnon.

Now, a brief new teaser trailer has given us a new look at the upcoming series and the official release date, April 2025.

The Last of Us Part II was a game plagued by controversial discourse regarding its subject matter and characters, primarily due to story leaks after a hacker broke into the servers of Naughty Dog, the video game company that created the series. Many of the story choices in the video game have been heavily discussed to this day, making the upcoming second season, which will adapt it, all the more interesting.

According to Production Bulletin, not only is the third season of The Last of Us already in the works, but it also reportedly has a production start scheduled for Summer 2025. This is particularly surprising since Season 2 of the series has yet to premiere, but it highlights HBO's confidence in the franchise. Season 2 of The Last of Us, starring Pedro Pascal, is currently set to premiere in Spring 2025. This could mean that production on Season 3 may begin shortly after the final episode of Season 2 airs on HBO next year.

Gunn's DC Universe is set to kick off in December 2024 with the Creature Commandos premiere on Max, and more 2025 projects are also getting ready for their debuts next year, including Peacemaker season 2. While plot details on Peacemaker season 2 have been limited, a new status report is boding well for the show's return next year.

After shooting for more than half a year, Gunn announced on social media that Peacemaker season 2 has officially wrapped filming, with the DC Studios co-ceo having pulled double-duty throughout 2024 by directing episodes of the new season while also working on Superman. According to DC Studios' James Gunn, two of Peacemaker's biggest stars have concluded filming their scenes for the series' second season. In a post on Threads, Gunn wrote: "And thats a Peacemaker Season Two wrap on [John Cena and Jennifer Holland], who both turned in wonderful performances this season as Christopher Smith and Emilia Harcourt."

The Peacemaker showrunner then added: "To top it off, shooting yesterday was one of the most fun days of shooting I have Ever had! Thanks to the incredible people of Savannah, Georgia for making the Peacemaker crews stay here so special. One Day Left!"

Exclusive: Underbelly has added two to its cast, with Lucian-River Chauhan and Kate Corbett signing on to the twisty crime drama. Cameras are rolling on the series, which is for Canadian streamer Crave.

Underbelly stars Stephen Amell as a cop in the 1000 Islands region that straddles Canada and the U.S. His character, Officer Henry Roland, finds evidence linking a case he is working on to his childhood best friend, Tommy Hawley, played by Hamza Haq.

Chauhan will play the younger version of Tommy in the six-episode series. He starred in Apple TV+ supernatural drama Me, which bowed earlier this year. His other credits include Amazon’s Encounter and Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Kate Corbett will also appear, and play a character called Liv. Little else is known about her part at this point. Her credits include Canadian procedural Coroner and indie movie The Righteous.

By comparison, it was also announced that season 2 of James Gunn's DC series Peacemaker will drop in August, making it the third Dcu project released after Creature Commandos and Gunn's Superman movie starring David Corenswet.

The Last of Us and Peacemaker were among several returning shows teased in a recent 'Coming to Max in 2025' promo, with additional footage previewing Dune: Prophecy, The White Lotus, Hacks, and The Gilded Age and new shows like It: Welcome to Derry.

The Peacemaker season 2 release window has finally been revealed. Though it isn't clear how the show will fit into James Gunn's DC Universe, the John Cena-led series is moving forward with a new season.

During a preview event for Max and HBO (via IGN), CEO and Chairman Casey Bloys revealed that Peacemaker season 2 will premiere in August 2025. An exact premiere date will be revealed at a later time.

On Nov. 11, Max debuted a teaser trailer for the upcoming titles that will come on the platform in 2025. The streaming service offered a sneak peek at several new series, including the new Game of Thrones spinoff, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and Stephen King's It prequel series, It: Welcome to Derry. At the same time, it featured sneak peeks at new seasons from returning series like The White Lotus Season 3, And Just Like That Season 3, and The Last of Us Season 2.
