In L'étrangleur de la place Rillington (1971), Pat Heywood played the wife of a murderer, John Christie, and it is hinted she knew of his activities and kept them secret. In Second Time Around (1991) she plays the mother of the murderer, and it is explicit that she knew about it and covered it up.
