Stéphane Hessel was born on 20 October 1917 in Berlin, Germany. He was an actor and writer, known for Indignados (2012), Restiamo umani: The Reading Movie (2012) and Les combattants de l'ombre - Des résistants européens contre le nazisme (2011). He was married to Christiane Chabry and Vitia Mirkine-Guetzevitch. He died on 26 February 2013 in Paris, France.
