    • Ursula Herking was born on January 28, 1912 in Dessau, Germany. She was an actress, known for Quatre filles courageuses (1938), Tim Frazer (1963) and Frau Luna (1941). She was married to Dr. Ulrich Glass and Dr. Johannes Semler. She died on November 17, 1974 in Munich, Bavaria, West Germany.

  • German character actress and cabaret artiste. Studied acting under Leopold Jessner and subsequently performed at the Berlin Staatstheater and in cabaret (Chat noir, Katakombe, etc.). In films from 1933, often popularly paired with comedian Rudolf Platte. Specialised in quaint or blowsy comedy roles as secretaries, maids or assorted tomboys. Post-war increasingly in dramatic parts. She was a co-founder of the Theater 'Die Kleine Freiheit' in Munich (1948).
  • In the 30's she worked especially in Berlin and became soon well-known as a cabaret artist.
  • Her film roles became more numerous after the war and also bigger. She often impersonated clumsy oder fussy characters.
  • She early took acting lessons at the Staatliche Schauspielschule and made her stage debut in 1930.
