Image

Technically a sequel to 2022’s Remember Me, from this film’s co-writer Christopher Jolley, Remember Me 2: Forget Me Not sees a man, Joe, awake from a nightmare to discover he is in hospital, paralysed and has lost his memory. A Doctor explains he was in an accident and that his body is shutting down, so much so that without a kidney transplant he will die.

Only this doesn’t feel like a hospital, the staff all act strange, seemingly reading from a script and getting perplexed when they don’t have the answers to the questions Joe asks. One of the nurses looks like she’s trying to kill him, whilst a second – played by Louisa Warren, herself the director of numerous...

‘Wolf Hollow’ Review
Image
Stars: Felissa Rose, Brian Ceponis, Daniel John Kearney, Christina Krakowski, Noah Welter, Jess Uhler, Lynn Lowry, Brandon Krum, Hans Hernke, Hannah Fierman | Written and Directed by Mark Cantu

After sitting through the less-than-satisfying Viking Wolf I wanted a lycanthropic film with a bit more bite to it. As it happened, I had the screener for the new film from writer/director Mark Cantu, Wolf Hollow waiting to be watched. Five minutes into it I’d already seen more gore than in the entire running time of A Norwegian Werewolf in High School as a drunken bonfire is invaded by a pack of werewolves.

A year later two things are happening. Evie and Bart Neuri are meeting with Mayor Schuzmarke about the absorption of Wolf Hollow by the adjacent town. An act caused in part by certain incidents on the Neuri’s property a year ago.

And in the hamlet of Wolf Hollow itself,...

Bermuda Island trailer: Tom Sizemore stars in creature feature
Image
Sam Raimi was attached to direct a sci-fi thriller set in the Bermuda Triangle for quite a while – then when he went off to replace Scott Derrickson as the director of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Derrickson stepped in to take the helm of Bermuda. That was almost three years ago and we’re still waiting to hear further information on that Bermuda Triangle project. In the meantime, Mahal Empire is set to release a creature feature called Bermuda Island on January 20th, and you can watch the trailer for the film in the embed above!

Producers Michael Mahal and Sonny Mahal crafted the story for Bermuda Island, which was directed by Adam Werth (Rancher’s Kin) from a screenplay by Crossbreed writer Robert Thompson. The film has the following synopsis: Passengers on their way to a tropical paradise crash at sea and find themselves on a deserted island.

‘Demons at Dawn’ Review
Image
Stars: Dani Thompson, Amber Doig-Thorne, Bill Victor Arucan, Stacy Johnson, John Altman, Andy Gatenby, William ‘Bill’ Connor, Chris Sanders, Crystal J. Huang, Ben Silver, Hans Hernke, Michael Della Pia | Written by Chris Sanders | Directed by Randy Kent

Based on the artwork that accompanied the original crowdfunding campaign for this film, I was expecting something of an Italian horror inspired British-lensed horror… After all the title referenced one of the most famous Italian horrors of the 80s and the artwork gave me House by the Cemetery vibes – it also looked a Lot like the old VHS artwork for Sorority House Massacre… All of which got me very excited to see what Demons at Dawn had in store.

I shouldn’t have got so excited.

Demons at Dawn opens with what turns out to be a wraparound segment that is totally unrelated to the main portion of the film. That “prologue” sees...

Horror Highlights: Pretty Boy, I Who Have No One, Nest Of Vampires, How To Deter A Robber
Image
Pretty Boy: "Pretty Boy, the follow up to the award-winning film Blind, has completed principal photography. Pretty Boy, directed by Marcel Walz and written by Joe Knetter, continues the story they set in motion in Blind.

Pretty Boy just finished the Post Production with Company 3

Marcel Walz (Director)

“Filming Pretty Boy the way we did was a dream comes true for me. It is beautiful, fun, gory and creepy. Seeing our Killer, “Pretty Boy”, slashing through this love letter to the 80s is what I have always wanted to do! Also, as an LGBTQ Director, I could go crazy on set design for the Valentine’s party and overall theme in the movie, so be prepared for a lot of pinks, glitter and some intestines Lol!“

Joe Knetter (Writer)

“Filming Pretty Boy was an amazing experience. Every single person on the cast and crew brought their ‘A’ game. Getting...

FlickLaunch, the first movie distribution platform built on Facebook for independent filmmakers, will premiere the horror thriller The Perfect House on October 1, 2011 as a 7-day rental on the film's Facebook fan page. The film is directed by Kris Hulbert and Randy Kent and stars Monique Parent, Felissa Rose, William A. Robertson, Andrea Vahl, Chris Raab, Jonathan Tiersten, and John Philbin.

This new platform enables independent filmmakers to market to and access a global audience through Facebook without the prohibitive costs of traditional and outdated distribution.
