What Is the One Piece Treasure: One Piece Voice Actors Talk Eiichiro Oda’s Final Big Twist
Image
The biggest question that One Piece fans have been wondering about since the first day is, what is the ‘One Piece’ treasure? The entire series is based around this question, and for almost 30 years, every fan has tried to figure out the true contents of the treasure that has caused havoc in the One Piece world.

When the series started, it was revealed that One Piece was all the treasure that the former Pirate King Gol D. Roger gained during his journey as a pirate, and he placed it on Laugh Tale, the final island of the Grand Line. Who Are the Roger Pirates in One Piece?
Image
This ariticle contains spoilers for the One Piece manga.

Gol D. Roger is the catalyst to One Piece's story. He's the first person in known history to reach the island at the end of the Grand Line. To do so, Roger gathered a talented crew who sought to turn the world upside down with him. Every member of the crew who's been featured in the story thus far has been exceptional in some way. The legacy of the Roger Pirates is something all of them carry, even if it's as much of a danger as a source of pride.

Unlike Monkey D. Luffy, Gol D. Roger had far more than 10 members on his crew. The Oro Jackson held 32 canon crewmates and 2 children on board. While most of these characters have names, only a few of them have come up in either the anime or manga thus far. All 4 of...

One Piece Characters Based On Historical Figures
Image
Despite their fervor for the show and its many pirates, many casual One Piece fans may be unaware that many of the beloved characters are based on real-life pirates or other nautical figures, such as X Drake and Basil Hawkins. Fans who have gone in-depth on the series and looked into details carefully, however, probably have an idea, with Blackbeard being the most obvious example of a character based on a real person.

Creator Eiichiro Oda has based many of his characters on real-life figures, not all of which are pirates. Oda has used his skills brilliantly to bring the legends of these characters into One Piece. Many historical pirates and explorers have served as inspirations for Oda's wide cast of pirate characters, though the extent to which they served as inspiration varies from simply copying a name to mimicking the personality and actions of various real-life people.
