She has been singing professionally since the age of 7. Her father was a busker who would often take her with him to sing on South Street in Philadelphia.

Her father, Eddie Henderson is a blues musician who toured the inner city school systems teaching children about their musical heritage.

On the show "Dance Party U.S.A." She was on a segment called "Hot Spots", wearing a bikini. When asked what her hot spot was, she said" My bellybutton".
