    In her younger years she wanted to be a painter, but mother and stepfather said she had to learn a trade first. Her drawing teacher also saw insufficient talent and she took dance lessons, also without the desired result. Meanwhile, her stepfather had taken her out of the Hogereburger School (HBS) to attend extended primary education (ULO) (his own children did the same). She became recalcitrant and did not finish that ULO either.
