- Heere Heeresma was born on March 9, 1932 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands. He was a writer and actor, known for Zwaarmoedige verhalen voor bij de centrale verwarming (1975), Han de Wit (1990) and De verloedering van de Swieps (1967). He died on June 26, 2011 in Laren, Noord-Holland, Netherlands.
- Under the pseudonym Heeresma Inc. Heere wrote the spy novel Teneinde in Dublin (1969) together with his brother Faber Heeresma. This book has been translated into German and Finnish, among others.
- Especially well received was his publication Melancholic Stories for around the Central Heating of 1973. But Heeresma wrote also erotic and pornographic work under pseudonyms such as Johannes de Back, Rochus Brandera, Ben Bulla and Horst Liederer. These works later also appeared under his own name.
- He was a Dutch author and poet.
- His first collection of poetry, published in 1954, was called Children's Room, but his breakthrough came in the 1960s and 1970s in the Provo generation.
- His book A Day at the Beach (1962) was made into a movie twice: first in 1970 by Simon Hesera - scenario: Roman Polanski (A Day at the Beach) and in 1984 by Dutch cineast Theo van Gogh.
