Murray Hayne(1931-2023)

He was hired to play the part of "Harry Black" in Chapeau melon et bottes de cuir (1961) episode Tunnel of Fear (1961), but had to back out at the last minute and was replaced by an actor named Anthony Bate. The change of actors was done so much at the last minute that the TV Times magazine's listing for the episode was already in the works and could not be changed to credit Bate. This is why Hayne has been thought to have played the role for the better part of fifty years.
