Father of Berenice Hawk (from his first marriage, to Tuli Hawk) and the actress Belinda Lang (from his second marriage, to Joan Heal). Father-in-law of the actor Hugh Fraser.
  • Cedric Lange adopted the name of Jeremy Hawk by deed poll. He acted as a successful stooge to the comedians Arthur Askey, Benny Hill and Sir Norman Wisdom.
  • His hobbies were cooking and golf.
  • Tall, suave character actor, educated at Harrow and trained for acting at RADA. On stage from the 1936, often in music hall or in satirical revues.
