House II: la deuxième histoire (1987)
Child’s Play 2 (1990) – The Best Scene
House II: la deuxième histoire (1987)
After taking a look back at House II: The Second Story (a favorite of mine since childhood), House of 1000 Corpses (which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year), the awesomeness of Tales from the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight, the leg smashing in the Stephen King adaptation Misery, three separate moments from John Carpenter’s Big Trouble in Little China, the “Jason vs. Tina” battle in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, the “all hell breaks loose” sequence from the start of Zack Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead remake, the opening sequence of Pitch Black, a cool moment from The Crow, a memorable shark attack from Jaws 2, and a creepy moment from Lost Highway, JoBlo’s own Lance Vlcek is continuing his The Best Scene video series with a look at a scene from the 1990 slasher sequel Child’s Play 2 (watch it Here) – and if you’re familiar with that movie,...

Brad Dourif in Chucky, la poupée de sang (1990)
Child’s Play 3 (1991) – Wtf Happened to This Horror Movie?
Brad Dourif in Chucky, la poupée de sang (1990)
Sometimes when a horror franchise is really on a roll, we’ll get sequels that are just one year apart from each other. But the waiting period between Child’s Play 2 and the movie we’re looking at in the new episode of the Wtf Happened to This Horror Movie? video series, Child’s Play 3 (watch it Here) was even shorter than a year. The third Child’s Play movie reached theatres just nine months after the second one! With such a quick development and production, is it any surprise that Child’s Play 3 turned out to be one of the least popular entries in the Chucky franchise? To find out all about the making of Child’s Play 3, check out the video embedded above.

Directed by Jack Bender from a screenplay by Don Mancini, Child’s Play 3 has the following synopsis: It’s been years since Chucky, the doll with...

Jim Carrey Praises Jon Stewart, Calls Rudy Giuliani an ‘Insect’ in Provocative Artwork
Jim Carrey at an event for L'incroyable Burt Wonderstone (2013)
In new artwork, Jim Carrey praised Jon Stewart for advocating 9/11 first responders and blasted Rudy Giuliani, who was mayor of New York City during the terrorist attacks.

“Kudos Jon Stewart for supporting the heroes of 9/11 who gave all to fulfill their duty while Congress, as usual, ran to hide from theirs like cockroaches when you turn the lights on. And speaking of insects where is ‘America’s Mayor’? Shouldn’t Rudy be fighting for these people?,” the actor-turned-artist tweeted.
