Fallout's Ella Purnell is excited to continue Lucy MacLean's wasteland adventures, despite not knowing the plot yet.

While promoting her upcoming TV show Sweatpea, Purnell gave Variety a disappointing update on Fallout season 2's production and when the show will return. "I've read nothing. I'm so unprepared," she admitted, though Purnell teased her physical training for Lucy -- whose personality was pitched as "Ned Flanders meets Lesley Knope in the apocalypse" -- being a bit more extensive this time around. "My only preparation so far is that I'm attempting to work out and that's just me knowing that in six months I'm going to be running up a hill 500 times and trying not to have asthma attack," the actor continued.

Ella Purnell Recalls 'Intense' Filming For the Sake of 'Making Something Cool'

The live-action adaptation of the hit video game wouldn't have been brought to life on Prime if it weren't for the main cast committing to their roles. In this case, Ella Purnell, who played Lucy MacLean in Fallout, recently shared the difficult set days they had for season 1.

"It was so tough. It was 100 degrees," Purnell recalled, the episode where co-star Walton Goggins (Ghoul) had layers of prosthetics and had to fight the giant 15-foot mutated salamander, "They could not have put him in more clothes if they tried.

Per Collider, Purnell discussed the scene in question during an appearance at FanExpo Chicago. "It was when we were filming the scene where Lucy and the Ghoul are fighting on the docks, with this giant, 15-foot, mutated salamander," Purnell said. "It was so tough. It was 100 degrees. Walton [Goggins, The Ghoul] was sweating, because he was head-to-toe in prosthetics, and he's wearing a shirt, a waistcoat, a jacket, and a hat. They could not have put him in more clothes if they tried. It was challenging."
