Trivia

Butch Hartman

Edit
  • Is good friends with Les Griffin (1999) creator Seth MacFarlane who named a recurring character in the show after Hartman.
  • Is not related to the late comedian Phil Hartman, contrary to popular belief
  • Best known as the creator of several Nickelodeon shows such as Mes parrains sont magiques (2001), Danny Fantôme (2003) and T.U.F.F. Puppy (2010).
  • Rob Orpillia, aka Kuro the Artist, worked on Hartman's failed pilot Imaganathan, which Orpillia revealed that Hartman ripped him off of $1,400 for completing a piece of animation. Orpillia also says Hartman stole the catchphrase "I created your childhood" from one of his emails.
  • He tried to launch a streaming service called Oaxis Entertainment on a Kickstarter campaign, which Hartmann failed to clarify that it will be Christian-focused streaming service from the beginning of the campaign and never achieved capital.
  • He doesn't believe in other people's mental health struggles are real.
  • He created The Noog Network digital service, which actually gives all of it's profits to Andrew Wommack Ministries.
  • He takes the full credit for creating his animated shows by excluding other writers and animators.
  • He plagiarized a commission without the artist's permission.
  • His family are followers of Bethel Church, which Oaxis Entertainment was meant to serve Bethel's 7 Mountain doctrine to eventually run the entertainment industry.
  • He created Oaxis.tv, which has a major of Butch's YouTube videos as it's content.
  • His pitch video for Oaxis was criticized for using footage from movies and TV series he doesn't own, supposedly without permission and not paying for copyright.
