Martha Harrison
Martha K Harrison (known as M K Harrison to friends and family) was born in Sylvester, Worth County, GA to M. C. & Catherine Zorn Harrison. She arrived the morning of her sister Phyllis Harrison Orta McAlister's 13th birthday and was born under the veil. When news spread of this rare birth, the hospital was quickly filled with people to see the child they say was a chosen child of God. Country folks came from miles around in their horse and buggies to view her, believing their lives and health would be improved by being in her presence. Martha's father M. C. Harrison was an educator and coach. In fact, he was his future wife's high school basketball coach in Sycamore, GA where they met. Catherine Harrison worked as a legal secretary. Both are retired and still living in Sylvester, GA. Martha's sisters are Cynthia Harrison Reese and Phyllis McAlister, they live in Albany, GA. Cynthia is the CFO of a family owned company and Phyllis is a college professor. Her stage career took off when she was crowned Little Miss Worth County. She went on to win many beauty pageants and ended up being the State(s) Director of the Miss USA/World Beauty Pageants for Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.

After filming Shérif, fais-moi peur! (1979), Martha appeared in several Tim Conway movies, Neil Simon's Match à deux (1985), commercials and talk shows. She has been surrounded by music and sports all of her life. She plays 6 musical instruments, and competed in basketball and running. Her natural inclination to sports led her to her biggest success "M K Harrison & Associates", a firm that represented athletes and actors, handling their public relations, marketing and sponsorship needs. Her recent divorce from race car driver Steven Cohen opened new doors. She moved from Alpine, NJ to NC, after spending a year in St. Barthelemy where she penned a weekly newspaper column. Harrison is a vegetarian and an avid reader. She says she misses acting but there isn't much opportunity in NC as it is a right to work State. She keeps busy with her pets, painting, playing her baby grand, gardening and traveling.
