Amanda Harris(I)

Amanda Harris was born in Adelaide, Australia, and was raised in Papua New Guinea. When Amanda was 10, her family relocated to Britain. She received a 1st Grade Drama Diploma in 1982 from Arts Educational School. In 1984 she won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Newcomer, for her work in Cheek By Jowl. She won another Olivier Award in 2005 as Best Supporting Actress for her role as Emilia in the Royal Shakespeare production of "Othello"
