  • Trivia
Attractive blond leading lady of the 1930's and 40's, discovered for the screen by the director Erich Waschneck (who became her first husband). She was usually cast in naive and unglamorous ingénue roles. Though never a major star, her fortunes improved somewhat after the war when she reinvented herself as a solid character actress. She became much sought-after for television appearances. Karin also acted on stage and had a noteworthy success in "My Fair Lady" at the Berlin Theater des Westens (1961-64).
