Biography

Born in Turku, Finland, she was raised in the Pansio section of the city. She graduated from Puolalanmäki senior high school in 1968. Subsequently she moved to Toronto, Canada, where she studied movie production. She was an editor of a Paul Cowan film 'Westray' which won a Genie award for best documentary in 2002. She lives with her husband, director Giles Walker, in Montreal, Quebec.
