After 29 months, six distinct legs, and 130 concerts across practically every corner of Europe and North America, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band finally wrapped up their world tour Thursday evening at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan, Italy.
The setlist was largely standard for this final leg of the tour until the very end when Springsteen strapped his guitar back on after typical show closer “Chimes of Freedom,” and called out, “Key of B, boys. Key of B.” He was instructing them to break into John Fogerty’s 1975 rock anthem “Rockin’ All Over The World,...

Van Halen‘s 1995 album Balance is receiving a 30th anniversary expanded reissue, out August 15th via Rhino.
The band’s fourth and final album with singer Sammy Hagar was reissued in 2023 on vinyl as part of the Hagar-era box set The Collection II, though the upcoming expanded edition marks the first standalone reissue on vinyl since the album’s original release.
The remastered audio from the 2023 box set was also sourced for this edition, which is bolstered by three non-album tracks and previously unreleased live recordings from a performance at Wembley Stadium in London on June 24th, 1995.
While the standalone 2-lp edition only features the remastered original tracklist, the bonus materials can be found on the 2-cd edition, and a separate deluxe edition box set houses both the LPs and CDs as well as an exclusive Blu-ray disc featuring era-specific music videos and promo clips.

As Alex Van Halen told Rolling Stone last fall, a tour reuniting the drummer and David Lee Roth didn’t come to fruition after Eddie Van Halen’s death in 2020. But at the M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, Maryland, Saturday night, Van Halen fans were accorded the next best thing: Roth’s return to the stage after five years, playing a set comprised completely of songs from his former band.

David Lee Roth played his first full concert in five years at the M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, Maryland, on Saturday night (May 3rd). The singer performed a 16-song set consisting entirely of Van Halen classics with his solo band. Update: Roth has announced a US tour taking place this summer.
Diamond Dave’s previous full show took place opening for Kiss on March 10th, 2020, just a few days before the pandemic shut down the concert industry. Since then, Dlr canceled a planned Las Vegas residency and seemingly retired from the stage before playing a couple of mini-sets at corporate gigs.

Sammy Hagar’s The Best of All Worlds Las Vegas residency kicked off Wednesday night at the Park MGM. The Red Rocker and his band, which includes guitarist Joe Satriani, bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Kenny Aronoff, and keyboardist Rai Thistlethwayte, stuck largely to the setlist they brought around to North American amphitheaters last summer, with some very notable surprises.
The first one took place at the top of the show, when they opened with “Encore, Thank You, Goodnight,” the brand-new song that Hagar claimed he wrote with Eddie Van Halen in a dream.

Sammy Hagar and Alex Van Halen haven’t been on speaking terms in 21 years, and the Red Rocker has a couple theories as to why the drummer is upset with him, with one being jealousy.
Hagar recently released the new single “Encore, Thank You, Goodnight,” inspired by a dream he had about Eddie Van Halen. The singer and his all-star backing band of Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, and Kenny Aronoff are set to kick off their “Best of All Worlds” Las Vegas residency on Wednesday night (April 30th) at Dolby Live at Park MGM (pick up tickets here).

Shaking off a rock ‘n’ roll bad boy reputation isn’t easy—just ask Billy Idol. While he’s been clean and sober since 2010, his image as a rebellious icon lingers.
The “Dancing With Myself” singer’s had to wait nearly two decades for his shot at getting recognized at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since he first became eligible in 2007, but at last, he finally earned his first nomination this year.
The nomination back in February was the first development in a busy 2025 for Idol so far. He released “Still Dancing” — his first single in three years — last month. At the end of April, he’s dropping Dream Into It, his first album in 11 years, which with any luck, will be punctuated with a Rock Hall acceptance as well.

Vin Diesel is ready to make "the testosterone-male answer to Barbie." The actor recently offered an update on his long-gestating Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots movie, which he claims will be as successful as Warner Bros.' 2023 box office hit Barbie, also based on a Mattel toy.

A hollow, lifeless conference hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center is just about the last place you would expect to find a Grateful Dead tribute concert on a Friday night. But it was there that MusiCares put on a show for the ages, honoring the band at its Persons of the Year gala with founding members Bob Weir and Mickey Hart in attendance (drummer Bill Kreutzmann could not make the trip and delivered a message by video) and a slew of acolytes who understood the assignment.
Typically, the MusiCares dinner is a polite affair, with guests seated respectfully for most of the performances, save the all-star finale, a staple of the event. And that’s not to say that previous Person of the Year recipients — which include Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and Barbra Streisand — didn’t have their own rabid fanbases in attendance. But the Deadheads just do things differently.

This year’s Grammy week will be looking a little different, as the show will take place shortly after Los Angeles was devastated by wildfires in the Pacific Palisades and Altadena. Music’s biggest night will mark the first awards show to take place in L.A. since the tragedy began on Jan. 7, and many of the typical Grammy events have been canceled as the usual players — including Spotify and the major labels — redirect resources to aid wildfire relief efforts.
However, a handful of events will carry on with a charitable component, including the starry Clive Davis party and MusiCares tribute concert. Check out this year’s still-on Grammys celebrations below.

Sammy Hagar is set to kick off a Las Vegas residency in April, and going forward residencies and one-off shows might be the only way to see the Red Rocker.

Joe Satriani is known for his virtuoso skills on guitar, so any praise he heaps on another guitarist is worth its weight in gold. In a recent interview, Satriani commended Kurt Cobain, calling the late Nirvana frontman a “great guitar player.”

Billy Joel spent New Year’s Eve in front of a capacity crowd at Ubs Arena in Elmont, New York, where he played an extended set that mixed big hits with lesser-known tunes from his catalog. Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening was the opening act, and Bonham himself came out halfway through Joel’s set to lead his band through “Whole Lotta Love.”
“We’re going to bring a guest onstage and do this next song,” Joel told the audience. “We have fun playing this, especially with this guy.

Sammy Hagar has responded to Alex Van Halen skipping the “Van Hagar” era in his memoir, calling the lack of acknowledgement “blasphemy” to Eddie’s legacy.
Hagar’s remarks came via an otherwise innocuous Instagram post that saw the Red Rocker nostalgically reflecting on his time in Van Halen. In the original post, featuring a photo from 1991 of Hagar and Eddie heading to the stage, Hagar joked about their choice of fashion at the time before taking a more serious tone when commenters began to compare the David Lee Roth years to Van Hagar.
“No disrespect to Alex but it’s ok to like Vh with Sammy, even if he doesn’t anymore,” wrote one commenter, prompting another: “Most purists believe Vh ended with Dlr.”
Here, Hagar chimed in.
“It could have [ended], my friend, but instead we went on to sell over 50 million records for [a] No. 1 album [then] sold out every...

Metallica hosted their fourth Helping Hands benefit concert and auction on Friday (December 13th) at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.
The concert marked the first Helping Hands benefit since 2022 and saw Metallica perform two sets, one acoustic and one electric, featuring covers, rare cuts, and new arrangements alongside guest collaborators. The evening, once again hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, also featured performances by Sammy Hagar’s “Best of All Worlds” band and the classical duo SistaStrings.

When the first look at the Disney+ series "Skeleton Crew" hit the scene, "Star Wars" fans were finally united on the most important subject of our time — the fact that we are ready to fall on the lightsaber if it means honoring and protecting Neel (Robert Timothy Smith). The new coming-of-age adventure series set after the events of "Star Wars: Episode VI -- Return of the Jedi" centers on four younglings who accidentally take off in a starship known as the Onyx Cinder and wind up lost in the galaxy before linking up with a Force-sensitive pirate named Jod Na Nawood (Jude Law). One of those younglings is Neel, the only non-human in the core group from their (at the start of the series) unidentified planet. Neel's best friend is the human boy Wim (Ravi Cabot-Conyers), and from all that we've seen of their world, humans and aliens coexist in harmony.

Credit — or blame, as the case may be — generally goes to Sammy Hagar. The former Van Halen frontman kick-started the celebrity booze movement when he launched his own Cabo Wabo Tequila back in 1999. The trend went into overdrive in 2017 after George Clooney offloaded his Casamigos tequila label to Diageo for a cool $1 billion. Suddenly, every A-lister (and A-list aspirant) wanted in. And though the ubiquity of celebrity brands has reached the point of parody, their performance is entirely serious, outpacing the industry as a whole. But which of them are any good? THR has convened a panel of mixologists and booze experts to single out their favorites — and those best relegated to the bottom shelf.

Celebrity chef Guy Fieri and rock and roll legend Sammy Hagar co-own a tequila business. However, the two never expected that someone would hijack two trucks bringing their alcohol. That happened, though, and two trucks carrying the valuable merchandise were stolen.
Here is a look at what happened, and what Fieri and Hagar had to say.

Guy Fieri is a celebrity chef best known for his various TV shows on the Food Network, including Diners, Driver-Ins, and Dives. Sammy Hagar is a rock and roll legend. He sang songs like “I Can’t Drive 55” and was Van Halen’s second lead singer. More recently, they co-own a tequila business.

Fieri, 56, and Hagar, 77, co-own the tequila brand Santo Spirits. According to reports, two of their trucks crossed the border into Texas. After they reached Laredo, Texas, on November 9, the thieves hijacked the trucks.

Guy Fieri and Sammy Hagar’s joint tequila business suffered a huge setback after two trucks carrying about $1 million worth of their Santo Tequila were hijacked in a double heist in Texas during the weekend of November 9th.
According to a representative of Hagar, via Fox News, the trucks were hijacked over the weekend in Laredo, just after crossing the border into the United States. A total of 4,040 cases of tequila, including Santo blanco, reposado, and a special extra añejo — which took 39 months to make — were stolen.
