Rex Hagon was born in 1947, to William and Corinne Hagon of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as the second of three children. His older brother Garrick is a prolific actor, on stage, the big screen and in countless audio books. while his sister June-now retired, spent her life working tirelessly in the field of geriatric medicine.

Rex started his career at the age of 5, appearing in many CBC-TV and Radio productions. An early success was landing the title role of "The Kid" in W.O. Mitchel's iconic "Jake and the Kid." Rex also appeared in the popular Canadian TV series "The Forest Rangers" as Peter Keeley, acting alongside Ralph Endersby, Susan Conway, and Peter Tully. The rough-and-tumble nature of the production-shot in Kleinberg- required him to draw on his skills as an outdoors-person helped spur a life-long interest in nature and the outdoors, a love he has passed on to his family.

Mr. Hagon ended his tenure on "The Forest Rangers" in order to complete his high school education at Upper Canada College. Following his graduation from UCC, Rex enrolled at the University of Toronto and completed his Bachelor of Arts before returning to acting on a professional, full-time level.

His next "cult" role was on TVOntario's "The Polka Dot Door," a well-loved children's show. The original tapings became a staple among children from 1971 up until the late 1980s, with many people still remembering the irrepressible "Polkaroo."

As with any successful Canadian performer, it is necessary to remain diversified in order to survive the ups and downs of the industry. Rex combined his love of children's programming with work in many commercials, film productions, talking-books and instructional videos.

In 1985, Rex ventured full time into the area of consulting and coaching with senior corporate executives helping them speak with increased clarity, confidence and impact.
