Serge Groussard(1920-2016)

Groussard (January 18th, 1921 to January 2nd, 2016) was a much decorated military man who served in both the French Resistance during World War II and later during the French war in Algeria, and drew on his experiences for the subjects of several of 25 books he wrote (eight of his works were adapted into films.) He was also a journalist for the conservative publication, Le Figaro.
