Marion Grimaldi, whom I used to see regularly on TV with Cliff Michelmore, where she sang in the evenings on the "tonight" programme, was in fact a relative of the original "clown" Joey Grimaldi. In her house in Sandwich Street where she used to live with a female friend who was a psychiatrist and proponent of "musical therapy" they had on the wall many artifacts and tickets from Joey Grimaldi's stage appearances, around London including Sadler's Wells.
