Jonny Greenwood is an English musician and composer, best known as the lead guitarist and keyboardist of the influential rock band Radiohead. Widely regarded as one of the most inventive guitarists of his generation, he is a multi instrumentalist whose work blends rock, electronic and contemporary classical music. As Radiohead achieved worldwide acclaim and sold more than 30 million albums, Greenwood became known for his distinctive arrangements and experimental sound design. Beyond the band, he has built a major career in film music, composing celebrated scores for directors such as Paul Thomas Anderson, Jane Campion and Lynne Ramsay, including There Will Be Blood (2007), Phantom Thread (2017) and The Power of the Dog (2021), earning multiple Academy Award nominations.
