With her husband John Gregson they had six children including Mary,Cathy, Sally and John Jr.

She met her husband, John Gregson, when appearing in the play 'The Old Foolishness' in London and soon married. They lived for a short while in a flat in Ealing before moving to Creek House by the river in Shepperton.
