    British screenwriter and playwright, often in collaboration with her husband, the writer and theatre manager John McCormick. Green started as an actress in 1931, appearing in Aldwych farces. She gave up acting in 1945 upon writing her first play. Green and her husband were under contract to the Rank Organisation between 1956 and 1959. The screenplays for La fille aux papillons (1950) and Piège à minuit (1960) were based on her original stories.
