Marilyn Monroe
Interesting Interviews: Buddy Greco on Marilyn Monroe's Last Weekend
Marilyn Monroe
One of the most -- if not the most -- notorious Hollywood deaths was that of Marilyn Monroe. On August 5, 1962, her psychiatrist called the Lapd and reported that the actress was found dead in her Brentwood home. Her death was listed as "probable suicide" from "acute barbiturate poisoning," but over the years her death has been entangled in conspiracy theories. It might have been the Kennedys, since she had affairs with both political boys. It might have been the mafia, or, heck, maybe even the CIA.

Much like the death of Natalie Wood, Monroe's final moments have been a curiosity-filled mystery. I remember times in the early '90s when I would play the Marilyn Monroe Files, part of me imagining that as I went through the clues and reports, I would discover the true story. That, of course, would be impossible from a mere computer game, but it was...

Marilyn Monroe’s Last Weekend Alive: New Details
She was the quintessential sex symbol of the twentieth century, and the only thing greater than Marilyn Monroe’s fame is the mystery surrounding her tragic death.

The “Some Like It Hot” actress passed away on Sunday, August 5, 1962, though the circumstances leading up to her demise have been kept secret for nearly fifty years.

However, a new voice has emerged to shed some light on Monroe’s final weekend alive- Frank Sinatra’s pianist and singer Buddy Greco. Greco was at the Cal-Neva Lodge [a known Mafia haunt] in Lake Tahoe, Nevada on July 28th and 29th and has spoken up about Marilyn’s fragile state prior to her death.

Greco explained that Monroe had been treated badly by her lovers, brothers John F and Robert Kennedy, and had been invited by Sinatra to come out to Tahoe to unwind and recuperate from her heartbreak.

“When she arrived that Saturday, you'd never believe that...

Rare Monroe Photos On Sale
Marilyn Monroe
The last ever photos of screen icon Marilyn Monroe are expected to fetch thousands of dollars in an online auction.

Four ultra-rare pictures of the Some Like It Hot star at the Cal Neva resort in Nevada just five days before her death have been released by legendary pianist Buddy Greco.

They were part of a set of 36 photos taken of Monroe and Frank Sinatra during the summer of 1962 - but only six remain.

The other 30 were stored in a safe-deposit box at the World Trade Center and were destroyed in the 9/11 attacks.

Greco has put the prints - four of Monroe and two of Sinatra - up for auction, with a starting bid of $7,500 (£5,000).

Monroe died from an overdose of barbiturates on 05 August 1962.
