  • At the London film museum in 2010, 'Zulu' had a special exhibition of film memorabilia to which Denys appeared at. He was briefly interviewed for a short documentary all about the 'opening day' within the museum.
  • Educated at New College, Oxford and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
  • He played in the original production of Under Milk Wood at the then New Theatre.
  • Before entering RADA, Denys Graham gained an MA in Chemistry and Mathematics at New College, Oxford.
  • His final West End role was playing Victor Witt in Grand Hotel at the Dominion Theatre in 1992.
  • Denys Graham was a Welsh actor who appeared in the later series of Rumpole of the Bailey as his many daughtered colleague Percy Hoskins.
  • Denys Graham's best known film roles were portraying Flying Officer L.G. Knight DSO in the 1955 film The Dam Busters, Private 716 Robert Jones in the 1964 film Zulu, Private Fraser in the 1958 film Dunkirk, and Kaiser Wilhelm II in the 1979 film All Quiet on the Western Front.
  • To his extensive theatre credits include two years with Sir John Gielgud's Company at the Phoenix Theatre followed by a season at Stratford-upon-Avon.
  • Graham, who was an accomplished pianist.
  • Over a 70 year career he played a wide range of other roles on stage and screen.
