Leonid Gorovets was born on 7 October 1950 in Kyiv, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Soviet Union [now Kyiv, Ukraine]. He was a director and writer, known for Kafe im Limon (1994), Damskiy portnoy (1990) and Muzh moey vdovy (2010). He died on 10 February 2013.
