Johnathon Gorman

Johnathan Gorman has been cast in a variety of films, network television shows, and hundreds of commercials and industrial's. Although he enjoys working in front of the camera, his gift to create unique characters and stories has also given him the opportunity to write screenplays, direct, and produce feature films. He has received numerous awards and nominations for Best Picture, Director, Writer, and Best Supporting Actor. The first film script Johnathan penned, Final Decision, was awarded Best Film at the San Juan Cinefest in Puerto Rico. When he decided to step into the director's chair for the short film, Dandelion Dreams, which he also wrote, produced and starred in, it was recognized by various film festivals around the world and also received numerous awards and nominations. In 2015, Johnathan launched Indy Actor Studio. Although he never expected to become an acting coach, he felt it was worth giving a try when a group of actors he directed on a film project suggested the idea to him. His passion for film, and unique approach to the craft has always inspired actors and directors. Johnathan's collaborative personality and drive constantly keeps him pushing to find and develop inspiring projects that will support filmmakers around the world. His latest film project that he has executive produced, The Girl in the Pool, teams him up with his daughter (Dakota) as the director, and his long-time friend, RJ Collins as the producer. In 2023, Johnathan decided to share his unique journey with the world when he released his book, Your Life is Your Movie. "Since I love filmmaking and constantly growing, I thought it would be cool to create a book that combines the two." Johnathan believes the art of filmmaking can easily be applied to anything you want to achieve in life. In his book, he shares all the key elements to produce a film, and how you can incorporate these same concepts and roles into your life.
