Won the HBO Comedy Jury Award for Best One Person Show at the US Comedy Arts Festival 2001 in Aspen Colorado.

I get hundreds of emails a day, a lot of them from complete strangers, but also from real people I know and like. If they scare me, and there are quite a few that do, then I don't reply. Or if they say 'hey Dave, when are you playing in Sheffield?' I think 'you've ignored the button that says Live Dates and gone right to the button that says Contact Me.' That's impolite. It's like ringing up the editor of the "Radio Times" and saying 'what's on tonight at eight o'clock?'
