- Osvaldo Golijov was born on December 5, 1960 in La Plata, Argentina. He is a composer, known for Megalopolis (2024), The man who cried - Les larmes d'un homme (2000) and L'homme sans âge (2007).

- Associate Professor at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, where he has taught since 1991, and is also on the faculty of the Boston Conservatory.
