- Kaveh Golestan was born on July 8, 1950 in Abadan, Iran. He was a cinematographer and director, known for Recording the truth (1991), Stardust Stricken - Mohsen Makhmalbaf: A Portrait (1996) and Quartier de femmes (1966). He died on April 2, 2003 in Kifri, Iraq.
