Peter Godfrey
London-born Peter Godfrey was a stage actor / director / producer before coming to Hollywood as an actor in the late '30s. After appearing in several films, he turned to directing, and spent most of his career at Warner Bros., directing "B" dramas, comedies and thrillers. He left film directing in the mid-'50s and turned to episodic TV series.
