    • Robert Gleckler was born on January 11, 1887 in Pierre, South Dakota, USA. He was an actor, known for L'enfer (1935), The Glass Key (1935) and I'd Give My Life (1936). He was married to Adelaide Kendall and Norma Phillips. He died on February 25, 1939 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Trivia

  • He was originally cast as Jonas Wilkerson, overseer of the slaves at Tara, in Autant en emporte le vent (1939), but died one month into filming. He was replaced by Victor Jory.
  • Performed in 16 Broadway productions from 1917-1934. Most notably he was cast in the hit 1926 show, "Broadway" (as "Steve Crandall") that ran for 603 performances at the Broadhurst Theatre.
