5 Reasons This Could Be Vancouver’s Last Shot At A Stanley Cup
The Vancouver Canucks have visited the final series of the Playoff three times, being swept in 1982, and going to the 7th game in 1994 and 2011. After their first appearance they struggled to make the playoffs in the years that followed, facing early elimination if they did. A year after their 1994 run they moved out of the storied Pacific Coliseum into G.M. Place (now Rogers Arena) the team faced a steep decline for a number of years until the turn of the century. At the beginning of 1999 Pavel Bure, one of the key factors in the 1994 run, was traded to Florida for Ed Jovonovski, and two first draft picks that then Gm Brian Burke made sure were consecutive in order to draft The Sedin Twins. The trio joined the likes of Brendan Morrison and Mattias Ohlund to form a younger newer Vancouver Canucks.

Echo Bridge is pleased to announce the release of Visible Scars, available now on DVD through Amazon and Kmart and on Blu-ray through Best Buy. The flick, directed by Richard Turke, stars Tom Sizemore and Jillian Murray.

Synopsis

Backwoods scum Mike Gillis once had twin daughters. Stolen from their murdered mother, they spent most of their lives locked in his basement, until a fire set them free. Years later, Stacy Walker heads for the same remote mountains to escape her abusive boyfriend. Despite temporary relief from her tormentor, Stacy is overcome with the sound of little girls' voices...and soon the hallucinations become a violent reality.

Visible Scars With Tom Sizemore, Hannah Hall Complete, Trailer Revealed
Post-production has officially wrapped on the new psychological thriller, Visible Scars, starring Tom Sizemore, Jillian Murray (Never Back Down 2, The Graves) and Hannah Hall (Rob Zombie's Halloween).

Written and directed by Richard Turke, with cinematography by Jacques Haitkin (A Nightmare on Elm Street 1 & 2, Wishmaster), the film tells the story of Stacy Walker (Jillian Murray), a young woman who flees to her late uncle’s cabin to escape her abusive boyfriend, only to begin having gruesome visions and hearing voices from the surrounding forest.

Tom Sizemore plays Mike Gillis, a deranged husband who kidnapped baby twin sisters to appease his wife’s desire for kids 17 years earlier, raising them in his basement and killing anyone he deemed a threat.
