  • She had seven grandchildren.
  • Her parents are Frank Henry Griffin, a painter, and Margaret Griffin, an actress.
  • Was once up for the role of Anita in the film version of West Side Story (1961), which ultimately went to Rita Moreno, who won the Academy Award.
  • She had a daughter, Lisa Janell (born July 5, 1963), with her husband, Bently.
  • Best known for her role of "Gwen Kirby" in 13 episodes of How to Marry a Millionaire (1957).
  • "B" movie actress of the 1950s who didn't make it past campy rock-n-roll schlock and horror opuses. A frequent dramatic star of the Perry Mason (1957) series, she retired in 1970 to raise her daughter.
  • She graduated from Hollywood Professional School in June 1953.
