Matt Corby "ecstatic" at Triple J 'Hottest 100' placing
Matt Corby is said to be "ecstatic" at his recent placing in the Triple J 'Hottest 100' chart. The 21-year-old Australian musician - who has undergone an image change since coming second to Natalie Gauci in Australian Idol in 2007 - reportedly attended a house party in Tamarama on Australia Day (January 26) while he waited to see if his single 'Brother' had made the prestigious music list. The singer, who won reality TV show Australian Idol four years ago, said that she and her husband of two years Hamish Cowan decided to end their "passionate" and "intense" relationship in March. Gauci told the Herald Sun: "Hamish and I have separated and decided not to get back together. Most of my album will be about that - we had extreme highs and lows.
