Eastman is part of the Board of Directors of the I Am Someone Society to End Bullying. Ironically, he played bullies in both L'Histoire sans fin (1984) and Ça (1990).
Eastman lives in Maillardville, Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada.
Eastman works as a youth coordinator and a recreation program coordinator for the City of Port Coquitlam.
