As the 1960s began, the life of Ft. Worth native Kerry Gammill was forever changed when a TV viewing of Deux nigauds contre Frankenstein (1948) sparkled his lifelong love of monster movies. A constant drawer, monsters soon dominated Kerry's art which eventually left the drawing board to include monster make-up and filmmaking. He later turned his creative energies into an art career that included illustrating the comic book adventures of Spider-man, Superman, the X-Men and others. And coming full circle, he even worked as a conceptual artist for a Hollywood effects studio designing creatures for movies and TV shows such as Virus (1999) and the new Au-delà du réel - l'aventure continue (1995). He's also the author of "Kerry Gammill's Drawing Monsters and Heroes".
