  • Trivia
His difficulty walking was incorporated into the character of Don Tommassino, even after he stopped playing the role. To accommodate his difficulty, the character was written as using a wheelchair for some scenes. The character continued to use a wheelchair in Le Parrain, 3e partie (1990). In Le Parrain, 2ᵉ partie (1974), Tommassino is shown being shot in the legs, explaining his subsequent use of the wheelchair.
