  • During ABBA's early years, the group decided that she should use the name "Anna" because many non-Scandinavians found it difficult to properly pronounce "Agnetha." Her full name is pronounced AG-NEH-TAH FELTS-koog. The name "Agnetha" is the Scandinavian form of the name "Agnes" (a Greek name meaning "pure"). It is not related to the name "Anna" (derived from the Hebrew name "Hannah" meaning "gracious").
  • Won Europe's "Sexiest Bottom" award in 1977.
  • As part of ABBA, she won the Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton, England, in 1974 with the song "Waterloo". (6th April 1974)
