Biography

    • Wichita, Kansas-born Alan Fudge was an American actor with scores of television credits, including, notably L'homme de l'Atlantide (1977), Eischied (1979), Paper Dolls (1984), and Enquête privée (1992). He made guest appearances on such shows as Banacek, Kojak, Marcus Welby, M.D., Little House on the Prairie, The Streets of San Francisco, Hawaii Five-O, M*A*S*H, Starsky and Hutch, Charlie's Angels, Wonder Woman, Lou Grant, Knots Landing, Magnum, P.I., Cagney & Lacey, The A-Team, St. Elsewhere, Highway to Heaven, Dallas, MacGyver, Dynasty, Matlock, Falcon Crest, L.A. Law, The Wonder Years, Murder, She Wrote, Northern Exposure, Home Improvement, Beverly Hills, 90210, Baywatch, Dawson's Creek, and 7th Heaven.

  • He was in the "Ash Alley Singers", a folk music group in Tucson, AZ, in 1962-1963. Another member of the group, Bob Kimmel, went on to form The Stone Poneys (without Alan, who was a theater major at the University of Arizona and not out of school yet), Linda Ronstadt's first group. They had one hit, "Different Drum", and put out two albums. The song "Different Drum" was written by Michael Nesmith of The Monkees.
  • Upon Alan Fudge's death, his body was cremated, and his ashes given to his surviving relatives.
