He won the 1960 24 Hours of Le Mans.

1952 Belgian Grand Prix, Paul Frère finished in 5th place (2 points), he became the first Belgian driver to score points and 1956 Belgian Grand Prix, he finished in 2nd place, he became the first Belgian driver to stand on a Formula 1 podium.
