An author of fantasy fiction, Frost happily embraced the title of "Savage Humanist" when writer Fiona Kelleghan proposed to edit an anthology of like-minded fiction authors. His story, "The Madonna of the Maquiladora," was placed first in that anthology ("The Savage Humanists," published by Robert J. Sawyer Books in 2008).
