Loudermilk is quietly disappearing from Netflix, and fans who still haven’t hit play might be cutting it close. This dark comedy, led by Band of Brothers actor Ron Livingston, has built a loyal following since it landed on the platform but come July 1, all three seasons are out of the streaming library.

What Is Loudermilk About?

Sam (Ron Livingston) is a former music critic who’s now a recovering alcoholic. He runs a support group in Seattle, helping others clean up their lives while his own is still very much a mess. His best friend and sponsor, Ben Burns, played by Will Sasso, adds an extra layer of rough-edged warmth to the story. The supporting cast includes Laura Mennell, Anja Savcic, Mat Fraser, and more – each character bringing their own brand of dysfunction.

The award-winning, epic and brutal crime saga is back and this time, anyone can fall. In the eagerly awaited third season of Gangs of London, hundreds of people are dropping dead in London from a batch of spiked cocaine and the Gangs are in chaos. Elliot hunts for answers, and finds himself confronting a devastating truth about his own past, as he uncovers a link to the conspiracy unfolding.

Netflix has decided not to return to Mount Olympus, canceling its series Kaos after a single season.

The decision comes about six weeks after the dark comedy, based on Greek and Roman mythology and created by Charlie Covell (The End of the F***ing World), made its debut on the streamer. Kaos appeared in Netflix’s top 10 charts for English-language series in each of its first four weeks, topping out at No. 3 for the week of Sept. 2-8. It earned 14.9 million views (measured by total viewing time divided by running time) over those weeks, a middling number by the streamer’s standards.

In the United States, the show had 3.34 million views as of Sept. 8, according to Nielsen’s streaming ratings (viewing totals for subsequent weeks aren’t yet available).

Sony Pictures Television series “Loudermilk” from Peter Farrelly has found a new home on Amazon Prime Video. “Loudermilk” aired its first two seasons on the now-defunct AT&T Audience Network.

Those two seasons will become available on Amazon’s Prime Video platform on Friday.

The film is produced by Netflix, which has scheduled a limited theatrical release on Nov. 27 in the U.S. prior to its release on streaming on Dec. 20.

Peaky Blinders’ Helen McCrory, Poirot’s David Suchet and U.S. comedian Cristela Alonzo are lending their voices to HBO and BBC drama His Dark Materials.

The trio are among those to sign up as voice actors for the the Philip Pullman adaptation, written by Jack Thorne and produced by Bad Wolf.

The “hot priest” is joining His Dark Materials… Fleabag actor Andrew Scott has signed up for the HBO and BBC co-production.

Scott is set to play Colonel John Parry, the father of Will Parry, who is being played by Amir Wilson. Parry, who is also known as Doctor Stanislaus Grumman or Jopari, accidentally travelled to Lyra’s world where he became a renowned scholar and shaman. His dæmon was called Sayan Kötör and had the form of an osprey.

He joins the second season of the drama with season one scheduled to air later this year.

The creative team behind His Dark Materials has called the Philip Pullman adaptation a “challenging” show to write but the “quintessential” HBO/BBC co-production.

Writer Jack Thorne and exec producer Jane Tranter, who runs production company Bad Wolf, spoke about the big-budget fantasy epic alongside stars including Dafne Keen, James McAvoy, Ruth Wilson and Lin-Manuel Miranda at its TCA press tour panel.

Thorne admitted that he wrote several dozens drafts for the first episode of the show, which is set to launch on HBO in October. “We wrote papers to ourselves about all the different ideas in the show. We wanted to do a Ph.D. in Phillip Pullman and we tried to do a Ph.D. in His Dark Materials. I wrote 46 drafts of episode one in order to find a way to tell this story as elegantly as possible. [Pullman’s] denseness is a blessing and a curse; it’s so exciting.

“His Dark Materials,” the fantasy trilogy by Philip Pullman that has captivated readers since its publication in the late 90s, has proven difficult to adapt in the past. If the forthcoming HBO and BBC series doesn’t hit the mark, viewers and critics will once again be sharpening their subtle knives.

The show took over Hall H at Comic-Con on Thursday afternoon, with stars James McAvoy (Lord Asriel), Lin-Manuel Miranda (Lee Scoresby), Ruth Wilson (Mrs. Coulter) and Dafne Keen (Lyra Belacqua) all present to show off a new trailer.

The trailer teased the war with the evil organization known the magisterium, with Lord Asriel on one side and Mrs. Coulter on the other. Also mentioned was the child abduction plot at the center of the show.

“Sometimes children can just disappear,” Mrs. Coulter says clicking her fingers ominously.

The news comes just a day after the BBC greenlit the second season, the first season of which is still in production. Based on Philip Pullman’s trilogy of young-adult fantasy novels — “The Golden Compass,” “The Subtle Knife,” “The Amber Spyglass” — the show is produced by Bad Wolf with New Line Cinema for the BBC and HBO, in association with BBC Studios Distribution and Anton Capital Entertainment. Black Mirror’s Georgina Campbell, Shameless’ Anne-Marie Duff and Games of Thrones’ Ian Gelder have all signed on to star in BBC One fantasy drama His Dark Materials. The trio have joined the cast of the Bad Wolf show, which has begun filming in Cardiff.

Campbell plays journalist Adele Starminster, Gelder stars as Librarian Scholar Charles and Duff plays a boat dwelling Gyptian, alongside James Cosmo, Lucien Msamati, Mat Fraser, Jack Verhoeven and Benjamin de Ruyter.

HBO and the BBC teamed for a TV adaptation of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials Trilogy, from the former producers of Doctor Who.

BBC One teamed with HBO, New Line and former Doctor Who producers Julie Gardner and Jane Tranter to make an initial 8-episode adaptation of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials Trilogy, perhaps better known as The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife and the Amber Spyglass.

The His Dark Materials TV show will see its first two episodes directed by Les Miserables' Tom Hooper from scripts by The Cursed Child writer Jack Thorne.
