Gibson Frazier co-wrote, produced, and starred in the indie cult hit feature film Man of the Century (1999) which won the Audience Award at the Slamdance Film Festival and was cited by the National Board of Review for Excellence in Independent Filmmaking. He has written and directed numerous short films as well as No Longer/Not Yet, his narrative feature debut.
A denizen of New York City's downtown theater scene, Gibson Frazier has originated roles in some of the most acclaimed original plays written of the 21st Century including Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play at Playwrights Horizons, Telephone at The Cherry Lane, and God's Ear at New Georges. He was named one of the best off-Broadway actors by both The Village Voice and Time Out New York.
Gibson has acted along such luminaries as Jack Klugman, Tony Randall, and Kirk Douglas, as well as for contemporary masters Steven Spielberg, Steven Soderbergh, and Noah Baumbach. Gibson was also an invited participant in Werner Herzog's second Rogue Film school.
As a writer, Gibson developed and directed Christopher Titus' play Norman Rockwell Is Bleeding, the inspiration for the FOX television show Titus and co-wrote and developed Cate Cohen's Out Of Line, ordered to pilot by ABC.
Gibson has recorded over 100 audio-books and has narrated 30 books by Stuart Gibbs including his Spy School and FunJungle series. Gibson is also the author of the beloved children's book Stop And Smell The Cookies.
