‘Noah’s Arc: The Movie’ Premiere Celebrates 20 Years of Giving Fans What They Want
Image
It’s been 20 years, but “Noah’s Arc” is still afloat — and, perhaps, better than ever — in “Noah’s Arc: The Movie,” which had its world premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

Original stars Darryl Stephens, Jensen Atwood, Rodney Chester, Christian Vincent and Wilson Cruz joined creator, writer and director Patrik-Ian Polk to celebrate the latest chapter of their groundbreaking series at The London West Hollywood.

“This movie is a culmination of all the experiences and the learning and the love that we’ve gotten from the fans over all the years. That’s what this movie is, sending all the love they’ve given us back to them,” Stephens told TheWrap. “I was impressed by how much love and money was placed into this project. This felt like, ‘Ok, you know who we are and what we represent and how important it is to the fans.’ It felt like we finally arrived.

15 Best Movies Like Clueless
Image
Fab friends, a dream closet, teen romance, and meddling in others' lives. These are the ingredients that make up "Clueless," the 1995 film about Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone), who wants to help others, as long as it works to her advantage. This includes giving a makeover to the new girl, Tai (Brittany Murphy), who is Cher's next project. These elements make "Clueless" the quintessential teenage movie, complete with a look into the world of '90s high school and the idea that adults and responsibilities like driving are a total drag.

All of this is told through the eyes of Cher, whose inner thoughts are shared through a narration that makes you truly understand her plights and her genius problem-solving skills that not everyone understands. Is there another movie out there that is just as cool as "Clueless" continues to be? As if! But if the ending has you buggin',...

All the Stars That Auditioned for 'Mean Girls' Before Iconic Cast Was Finalized
Image
Mean Girls remains one of the most iconic teen movies, and that’s partly down to the all-around perfect casting choices that were made behind the scenes. Can you even imagine what it would have been like if the lineup of talent had been different!?

Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfied and Lacey Chabert grounded the movie as members of The Plastics – teen royalty of North Shore High School.

They were joined by other talented young actors such as Jonathan Bennett, Daniel Franzese and Lizzy Caplan alongside comedy legends Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

However, Mean Girls almost looked very different. For starters, all three members of The Plastics auditioned for other parts in the movie before they were finally cast. Several other actresses were also in the running for parts, and an A-list actor was considered for Jonathan‘s character Aaron Samuels.

One of the actors who was in...

‘Mid-Century Modern’ Cast, Creators Pay Tribute to Linda Lavin at Hulu Premiere: ‘The Spiritual Showrunner of Our Show’
Image
Linda Lavin’s final role on television will be in “Mid-Century Modern” this Friday, so her co-stars and the sitcom creators made sure to honor the late star at their Hulu premiere on Tuesday.

“Linda Lavin was the most joyous, gracious, amazing person that you’d ever want to meet. She worked from the age of 5 to 87 and went out blazing like the star she was,” Nathan Lee Graham told TheWrap. “She truly was a pro at everything. This woman did everything: she could play the piano; she could sing; she could act, comedy, drama equally as well. She was a light. I call her the spiritual showrunner of our show. She’s the glue, she keeps us going. She’s the puppetmaster, she’s doing all of this tonight. So, she’s here.”

The Tony Award winner and Emmy-nominated actress died in December at age 87 from complications of lung cancer before Season 1 had wrapped.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Producers Have Broadway Dreams as Las Vegas Show Hits 1,000 Performances
Image
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” may currently be airing its 17th season, but as its Emmy-winning host says in one of her most iconic songs: This is just the beginning.

In fact, executive producers and World of Wonder co-founders Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato told TheWrap they have Broadway dreams for the reality TV show mainstay while celebrating the 1,000th performance of “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!” in Las Vegas.

“A lot of the creative team from ‘Drag Race’ has brainstormed and put this show together and it became clear that it should be like watching the show,” Barbato said. “That’s what we wanted to do, recreate that experience. Early on in the show we were figuring out all different iterations of ‘Drag Race’ just to grow it.”

“The growth and the creative explorations of the Vegas show have a lot to do with the cast,” he continued, to which Bailey elaborated,...

One Mean Girls Actor Learned About His Casting In The Funniest Way Ever
Image
It's true that all movies start as words on a page, but this gets you maybe a tenth of the way down the road to a completed film -- and even if you embark on this journey with a brilliantly crafted screenplay, there are still a myriad of opportunities to make an absolute dog along the way. That's because filmmaking is a highly collaborative art form. Everyone, from the director to the cinematographer to the editor to the production and costume designers needs to be dedicated to properly serving that terrific screenplay.

One of the most important stages in film production is, of course, casting. There is an art to great casting (which is why it now has its own Oscar), particularly when it comes to piecing together a comedy. Again, it's not just a matter of bringing together some of the funniest people on the planet. You need look...

Mean Girls: 25 Quotes From Regina George That Prove Shes Pure Evil
Image
The 2004 comedy Mean Girls is chock-full of iconic quips thanks to SNL alum Tina Fey's involvement, but Northshore High's queen bee is one of the most calculating on-screen villains, and there are a variety of Regina George quotes that prove it. Mean Girls sees Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) living in America after spending most of her life in Africa. She's in for the culture shock of a lifetime as she attends an American high school and is targeted by the school's popular girls, dubbed "the Plastics" by classmates, led by ultimate mean girl Regina George (Rachel McAdams).

As Cady infiltrates the Plastics on Janis (Lizzy Caplan) and Damian's (Daniel Franzese) orders, she finds herself becoming just like them. While all the Mean Girls characters have their stereotypical "mean girl" moments, a number of Regina George's quotes suggest that she might actually be pure evil. Throughout Mean Girls, Regina...

Mean Girls Review: Tina Fey's Sharp, Hilarious Classic Is The Defining Teen Movie Of The 21st Century
Image
Mean Girls is a movie that needs no introduction. The Tina Fey-penned 2004 movie about Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) transferring to an American high school after years of being homeschooled by her parents on another continent, then attempting to help her new friends take down the clique of popular girls, is jam-packed with iconic lines and moments that have earned it a reputation as a teen comedy classic. What defies logic is that, in spite of this, there is indeed more to dig into while celebrating the movie on its 20th anniversary.

This Mean Girls Theory Says Regina Isn't The Real Villain (But I Don't Agree Entirely)
Image
A Mean Girls theory suggests Janis was the movie's real villain. As mean as Janis was, Regina was also a villain. Mean Girls is more complex, showcasing different types of "mean girls/people" and high school dynamics.

Mean Girls is all about the fall of Queen Bee Regina George (Rachel McAdams), but theres a theory that says Regina isnt the movies real villain but I dont entirely agree with it. The 2000s saw the rise of teen comedies, and one of the most popular and beloved ones is Mean Girls. Directed by Mark Waters (who a year earlier directed Freaky Friday) and based on Rosalind Wisemans self-help book Queen Bees and Wannabes, Mean Girls took the audience to North Shore High School to follow Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan).

Cady had been homeschooled her whole life as she lived in Africa with her parents, who were research zoologists, and now she...

I love you,” the Queen of Drag told his adoring crowd while still holding the enormous pink scissors. RuPaul’s co-producer and co-judge Michelle Visage stood beside him, and they were flanked by dozens of drag queens from the American version of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” plus many other worldwide installments. The actor really started to do that with Mean Girls as the fabulously quotable Damian in 2004. Since then the teen movie has become a global phenomenon where we wear pink on Wednesdays and celebrate on Mean Girls Day on October 3. Franzese has made the most of its reach, using the platform for advocacy. Here the star looks back on this and some of his other most memorable roles and appearances over the last two decades. Your episode of Beat the Bridge just aired. Were you always a big game show fan? Daniel Franzese: Yes! I’m a game show and trivia fan. I’m a gamer. I love all of that stuff. This Subtle But Brilliant Mean Girls Joke Gives A Twist To Regina & Janis' Feud
Image
Regina misunderstood Janis' cultural background, leading to their feud. Regina and Janis were best friends until Regina spread rumors about Janis being a lesbian. Mean Girls 2024 changed the backstory to make Regina's behavior even crueler.

Mean Girls is full of memorable lines, scenes, and jokes, but one subtle and brilliant one completely changes what everyone knew about the feud between Regina George (Rachel McAdams) and Janis Ian (Lizzy Caplan). In 2004, fresh off the success of Freaky Friday, director Mark Waters teamed up with Lindsay Lohan one more time in the teen comedy Mean Girls. Inspired by the book Queen Bees and Wannabes by Rosalind Wiseman and with a script by Tina Fey, Mean Girls took the audience to North Shore High School as they followed nave new girl Cady Heron (Lohan).

After being homeschooled her whole life, Cady ventured into high school without knowing how cruel high schoolers could really be.

You Can Sit with Us! Daniel Franzese & Jaquel Spivey Discuss Their Damians of ‘Mean Girls’ (Video)

Get in losers, the Damians are talking. Full disclosure: This. Yeah, it’s a strange and so-flattering thing to be linked to such an indelible character as Mean Girls‘ Damian. He’s an icon, he’s a scene stealer and he’s joyful proof that you’re never too gay to function. He’s also heavily influenced by my brother Jim (especially the stage version originated by the flawless Grey Henson on Broadway): We’re both huge homos who grew up with Tina Fey doing summer theater in Upper Darby, Pa in the ’80s, having movie nights at our parents’ house and eating our feelings. But Jim doesn’t even go here—by “here,” I mean work in the media—so when the folks at Paramount suggested a chat with Daniel Franzese and Jaquel Spivey, the two actors who have played Damian on screen, in support of the digital...

Tim Meadows, Tina Fey, Christopher Briney, Reneé Rapp, Jaquel Spivey, Angourie Rice, Bebe Wood, Avantika, and Auli'i Cravalho in Mean Girls, lolita malgré moi (2024)
The original Mean Girls movie is confirmed for a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release in the UK: more on it here.

Heading to over $100m at the global box office, the 2024 take on Mean Girls – the film that’s a musical that wasn’t promoted as such – has been a solid hit for Paramount Pictures. Not bad at all for a film that was originally intended for Paramount+, and got upgraded to a theatrical release.

Still, it’s the original that remains the standout, the 2004 film starring Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams and Tina Fey. Mark Waters directed the movie, and it’s – if you’ve not had the pleasure – one of the standout teen movies of its particular decade.

What’s more, it’s also coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for the first time as well, with a new UK release just confirmed.

Matthew Bourne’s ‘Romeo + Juliet’ Opens in L.A. to Tears, Cheers From Melissa McCarthy, Adam Shankman
Image
Center Theatre Group presented the North American premiere of Matthew Bourne’s Romeo + Juliet on Wednesday evening, and when it ended, the entire Ahmanson Theatre audience was on its feet offering a standing ovation. After the dance company had taken final bows — with Paris Fitzpatrick’s Romeo and Monique Jonas’ Juliet receiving the love while covered in (spoiler alert!) blood-drenched white ensembles — Melissa McCarthy and Adam Shankman sat back down in their orchestra seats in row F.

The good friends, who arrived together, proceeded to stay seated for another 10 minutes or so to process what they’d seen through tear-filled eyes. “I just love a comedy,” Shankman said to The Hollywood Reporter in the lobby moments later. He was kidding, of course, as the show offers a surprising, dramatic and somewhat violent twist to the classic story of star-crossed lovers.

“It was magnificent,” continued Shankman, who broke out as...

The Mean Girls Movie Musical Restores A Deleted Scene To Offer More Closure
Image
This article contains spoilers for "Mean Girls."

The 2024 movie musical reimagining of "Mean Girls" restores a missing puzzle piece in the original film. Penned by Tina Fey and directed by Mark Waters, the original "Mean Girls" is a cautionary tale about the corrosive effects of cliques. Having grown up homeschooled, Cady (Lindsay Lohan) is figuring out how to survive in the jungle of a Chicago public high school. She befriends two outcasts, Janis (Lizzy Caplan) and Damian (Daniel Franzese), who recruit her to infiltrate the Plastics, a pink-clad clique of popular girls ruled by Queen Bee Regina George (Rachel McAdams). Cady finds herself allured by Regina's seemingly titanic confidence -- that is, until Regina steals Cady's crush, locking the two teens in a vicious cycle of revenge.

Eventually, these incidents come to a boil when Regina is accidentally hit by a bus. When a recuperating Regina attends the Spring Fling,...

6 Reasons Why Mean Girls 2024's Reviews Are So Positive
Image
Mean Girls (2024) incorporates elements from the Broadway show, including musical numbers, to bring a fresh spark to the familiar story. Reneé Rapp delivers a standout performance as Regina George, paying homage to the original character while infusing her own brand of menace. Mean Girls (2024) embraces an ironic self-awareness, allowing it to successfully balance nostalgia with its musical and remake elements.

In the age of failed reboots and underwhelming sequels, there are a few key reasons why Mean Girls 2024's reviews are so positive — and so fetch. Directed by Mark Waters and penned by 30 Rock creator and Saturday Night Live (SNL) alum Tina Fey, 2004's Mean Girls is classic teen comedy fare; however, the movie's managed to not just endure, but remain wildly popular. In the original film, Lindsay Lohan stars as homeschooled teen Cady Heron, who finds herself thrust into the jungle that is North Shore High. Taken...

Mean Girls: Was Janis Ian One Of The Plastics In Middle School?
Image
Mean Girls' Janis Ian may have been a popular girl herself in middle school, as hinted by a quote about her original choreography for the Plastics' dance routine. Janis Ian is portrayed as a mean girl and potentially the true villain of the movie, especially through her treatment of her supposed friend, Cady. Janis Ian shares similarities with Regina George, as both make cruel comments disguised as jokes and have a desire for control and admiration from others.

Janis Ian ardently hates the popular girls known as the Plastics in Mean Girls, but one quote has viewers wondering if she might've been one herself in middle school. Lindsay Lohan leads the Mean Girls cast as Cady, a formerly homeschooled teenager who starts attending a typical high school for the first time. She finds out there are many rules to public school life, eventually leading to her living a double life...

10 Harsh Realities Of Rewatching The Original Mean Girls, 19 Years Later
Image
Mean Girls perpetuates harmful stereotypes and insults, such as the casual use of the R-word and fat shaming, which are cringeworthy upon rewatch. The movie portrays homeschooling as strange and socially awkward, overlooking the reality that it is not uncommon and doesn't automatically make kids socially inept. Mean Girls displays social segregation with its portrayal of cafeteria scenes and the categorization of students, highlighting the lack of diversity and limited interactions across different social groups.

Mean Girls is a cult classic, and yet, although the movie is still beloved by millions of fans today, rewatching it so many years after its release comes with some harsh realities. The 2004 teen comedy follows the socially inexperienced Cady (Lindsay Lohan) as she attends public school for the first time. Hit with a culture shock regarding the hierarchy of high school, she quickly befriends fellow outcasts Janis (Lizzy Caplan) and Damian (Daniel Franzese), but...

Rachel McAdams Reveals Why She Didn’t Reunite With Mean Girls Cast for Walmart Commercial
Image
Rachel McAdams, who played Regina George in Mean Girls, didn't participate in the Walmart ad reunion because she wasn't excited about doing a commercial. Although a Mean Girls film with the original cast isn't in the works, a musical adaptation will be released on January 12, featuring a new cast and some returning actors. McAdams expressed her support for the Mean Girls musical and was open to making a cameo appearance but couldn't make it work. She looks forward to seeing the final product.

Audiences were treated to a Mean Girls reunion last month when Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Rajiv Surenda, and Daniel Franzese joined forces for a Black Friday Walmart ad. As exciting as seeing the group back on screen as their iconic film characters was for fans of the film, there was one notable absentee: Where was Queen of the Plastics Regina George? Rachel McAdams, who famously portrayed Regina in the 2004 film,...

Rachel McAdams Gives a Very Regina George Response for Why She Didn’t Appear in the Mean Girls Reunion Ad
Image
Last month, cast members from 2004’s Mean Girls — including Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, and more — reunited for a series of Walmart commercials, but one person was notably missing: the one-time leader of The Plastics herself, Rachel McAdams. Now, in a new interview, McAdams has offered a perfectly Regina George-esque explanation for her absence.

“I don’t know; I guess I wasn’t that excited about doing a commercial if I’m being totally honest,” she revealed to Variety. “A movie sounded awesome, but I’ve never done commercials, and it just didn’t feel like my bag.”

Continuing, McAdams clarified that she was unaware of the “reunion” angle of the ads. “I didn’t know that everyone was doing it,” she said. “I would, of course, always love to be part of a Mean Girls reunion and hang with my plastics, but yeah, I found that out later.

Stars Who Almost Appeared in 'Mean Girls' & the Roles They Auditioned For
Image
Mean Girls remains one of the most iconic teen movies, and that’s partly down to its perfect cast. Can you even imagine what it would have been like if the lineup of talent had been different?

Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfied and Lacey Chabert grounded the cast as the members of The Plastics – teen royalty of North Shore High School.

They were joined in the movie by other talented young actors such as Jonathan Bennett, Daniel Franzese and Lizzy Caplan alongside comedy legends Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

In 2023, the cast is forever associated with the characters that they played in the movie. However, Mean Girls almost looked very different.

For starters, the three of The Plastics auditioned for other parts in the movie before they were finally cast. Several other actresses were also in the running for parts, and an A-list actor up to play Jonathan‘s character Aaron Samuels.

Lacey Chabert on ‘Mean Girls’ Reunion for Walmart Ads: “Full-Circle Moment”
Image
Lacey Chabert, who starred as Gretchen Wieners in 2004’s Mean Girls, is opening up about her reunion with former co-stars Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Seyfried for Walmart’s Black Friday ads.

The actress told Yahoo Entertainment, in an interview published online Wednesday, that filming the commercials “was even more fun than it looked.”

“It was a really special day to be with Lindsay and Amanda again and to reminisce about the experience we had together, which is just so unique, and to catch up with each other,” Chabert added. “We’re all moms now! It was really a full-circle moment.”

Walmart recruited much of the original cast, including Lohan, Seyfried, Chabert, Daniel Franzese and Rajiv Surendra, to star in a Black Friday marketing campaign. Throughout the month of November, the retail giant is releasing new commercials featuring the cast every Wednesday leading up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday on Nov.

10 Iconic Mean Girls Moments The 2024 Musical Remake Must Avoid Copying
Image
The new Mean Girls movie will have to update iconic moments from the original film to resonate with a 2024 audience and avoid feeling like cheap fan service. The remake should give new actors the freedom to put their own spin on iconic scenes, like Amy Poehler's dance, for the movie to find its own identity. The new Mean Girls should find fresh, unexpected jokes and references that resonate with a modern audience, rather than relying on the repetition of nostalgic moments from the past.

Nearly two decades after the plastics first made their way onto the big screen, Mean Girls is being reimagined as a movie musical, but it would be a mistake for the remake to be a carbon copy of the original. Tina Fey's high school satire is one of the most quotable comedies of all time, and there are dozens of iconic moments, but many...

Lacey Chabert’s Gretchen Wieners Is Trying to Be the Cool Mom in Another ‘Mean Girls’ Walmart Ad
Image
Lacey Chabert’s Gretchen Wieners is back for another Mean Girls Walmart Black Friday ad.

The new ad spot (below) sees Gretchen’s new clique that she formed after her days at North Shore High School: the Wieners household.

“I am so getting you white gold hoop earrings for Hanukkah,” she says to her teen daughter. “What gold? It’s giving 2004,” her daughter replies before Chabert quickly cuts in, “Irregardless, I don’t think your grandfather, the inventor of Toaster Strudel, would be too pleased to hear you using that tone with me.”

Later, Chabert also tried to make “bop” happen, while listening to ‘Milkshake’: “Throwback Wednesday! I love this song. What a bop.” But her daughter was not having it, telling her mom, “Please don’t say bop.”

The commercial references several memorable lines from the original 2004 film, including Amanda Seyfried’s Karen Smith making an appearance to ask Chabert,...

‘Mean Girls’ musical trailer: Renee Rapp is the new Regina George [Watch]
Image
On Wednesdays, we release trailers for the upcoming movie adaptation of the “Mean Girls” musical.

Paramount has debuted the first teaser for the new comedy from original “Mean Girls” screenwriter Tina Fey, who adapted her winning script into a Broadway musical and has now turned the stage adaptation back into a feature.

As with the 2004 comedy classic, Fey again stars as the school’s put-upon guidance counselor, Ms. Norbury. Tim Meadows also returns from the film to play Principal Duvall. From the Broadway musical, Renee Rapp stars again as Regina George, the character made famous by Rachel McAdams. (Rapp replaced original Broadway star Taylor Louderman in the role.) Ashley Park, who played Gretchen Wieners in the stage musical, also features in this new film, albeit in a different role.

Angourie Rice stars as Cady Heron (played by Lindsay Lohan in the film), with “Moana” voice actress Auli’i Cravalho as Janis...

Get In, Loser, and Check Out the Trailer for New Mean Girls Movie: Watch
Image
It’s not a regular remake, it’s a cool remake: Paramount has shared the official trailer for their 2024 iteration of Mean Girls, out in theaters January 12th.

Like a set of pink-clad Russian dolls, this new Mean Girls film is adapted from the Broadway musical Mean Girls, which was adapted from Tina Fey’s 2004 comedy classic Mean Girls. Fey wrote the book for the stage version, which landed on Broadway in 2018, and is back as screenwriter for the 2024 film, too.

For the uninitiated: Mean Girls (2024) stars Angourie Rice as Cady Heron, whose notably Caucasian family has just moved back to the states after a stint in Africa. She befriends two fellow outcasts at her new high school, Janis (Auli’i Cravalho) and Damian (Jaquel Spivey), and the three hatch a plan to take down the Plastics, an elite clique led by the infamous Regina George. It doesn’t go over so well.

Mean Girls Trailer Brings the Musical Version of the Beloved Teen Comedy to the Big Screen
Image
The Mean Girls musical movie trailer is finally out! It's based on the stage musical and both versions were written by Tina Fey. The movie stays true to the plot of the original film but incorporates modern technology and updates some character details. The musical stars Reneé Rapp as Regina and features a talented cast, with the score having been refreshed to appeal to a wider audience.

The trailer for the Mean Girls musical movie has finally been officially released. The film is (deep breath) based on the stage musical of the same name, which was of course based on the film of the same name, which was based on the non-fiction book Queen Bees and Wannabes by Rosalind Wiseman. Both film versions of Mean Girls, plus the book for the musical, have been written by Tina Fey, who also plays the supporting role of Ms. Norbury in both the...

Why Rachel McAdams Was Missing From The Mean Girls Reunion
Image
The Mean Girls reunion commercial features Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert, but Rachel McAdams is notably missing. Mean Girls has become a cultural phenomenon, with a successful film, a made-for-tv sequel, and a Broadway musical-turned-movie. The Walmart commercial serves as a mini-sequel, with Lohan's character as a guidance counselor, and includes various references to the original film and cameos from other cast members.

A recent Mean Girls reunion has fans wondering why Rachel McAdams was missing from the on-screen get-together. Ahead of Black Friday, the annual post-Thanksgiving day of shopping deals, Walmart released a clever advertisement that served as a mini reunion for a number of Mean Girls cast members. Featuring Lindsay Lohan, who played fish-out-of-water teenage protagonist Cady Heron in the film, the commercial blends some of the movie's most memorable jokes with its holiday shopping premise. While both Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert, who played the...

Rachel McAdams absent from Mean Girls reunion
Image
Rachel McAdams is apparently not interested in making “fetch” happen, and she is one of the core Mean Girls cast members to not return for a recent Black Friday ad for Walmart. Now who doesn’t even go here?

Nearly 20 years after Mean Girls was released, Lindsay Lohan (Cady Heron), Lacey Chabert (Gretchen Wieners) and Amanda Seyfried (Karen Smith) reunited in the name of good deals and, yes, pink. But Rachel McAdams, who played leader of The Plastics Regina George, was noticeably absent, taking away so much from the reunion and instead bringing most of the attention back to her. Wait, was this a meta Regina George move…?

Still, the ad (which you can watch here) does have plenty of nods and easter eggs to Mean Girls, in addition to showing how Cady, Gretchen and Karen all turned out: Cady has become a guidance counselor, Karen has become a professional...

Mean Girls Stars Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried & Lacey Chabert Reprise Their Roles for Walmart Ad
Image
Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert return to their Mean Girls roles in a fun Walmart Black Friday ad. The ad also features other Mean Girls cast members and Missy Elliot, who plays a new version of Coach Carr, promoting Walmart's deals. Walmart will release more commercials with the cast, and a Mean Girls musical adaptation will hit theaters in 202

Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert have reprised their iconic Mean Girls roles for a new Walmart Black Friday ad that dropped today. While it's not exactly the sequel fans of the film have been coveting, the ad is certainly a fun surprise. Walmart's ad starts with three teen girls walking, while the memorable beat from Missy Elliot's "Pass the Dutch" plays (more on her later), and we hear Lohan's Cady Heron says: "Here at North Shore, some things never change. On Wednesdays, we still wear pink." Shortly after,...
