  • Made her 1st commercial at the age of 10, traveling around the world for 3 weeks with British director, Andrew Douglas, and crew. In the Merrill Lynch spot "Human Achievement" Elena witnessed the coming down of the Berlin Wall, the end of Apartheid in South Africa, and the handover of Hong Kong.
  • Lead singer of the band "Reality Something".
  • Was invited to play the role of Shane in "Osmosis Jones" after Peter Farrelly saw her in Michelle Leddon's award winning Columbia University thesis film "Utilities".
  • Graduated from the prestigious LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts in New York City
  • In 1999, Elena and her partner, Tyler Gurfein, demonstrated the Tango on "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee" as the tie-breaking duo that won the Rainbow Competition for P.S. 11. This annual New York City event was subsequently featured in the film "Mad Hot Ballroom".
