She was an actress, known for Femmes gangsters (1956), Cry Murder (1950) and Durango sur les pistes de l'Ouest (1945). She was married to John Arthur Stockton. She died on November 6, 2014 in Murrieta, California, USA.

  • In the '70s and '80, she operated Hidden Valley Ranch in Reseda, CA, where she raised pygmy goats, Muscovy ducks, chickens and rabbits. She was also a top champion breeder of miniature horses.
  • Screen-tested for the lead role in Le Port de l'angoisse (1944) but lost out to Lauren Bacall.
  • Second lead in films for Columbia, Paramount and Universal in the 1940s and '50s. Often played hard-boiled types.
  • Owned Mathew Travel Center, a travel agency in Sherman Oaks, CA, from 1971-86.
