- Pasadena High School's "Little Theatre" was renamed the "Abel Franco Theatre." Franco taught ESL English, Freshman English and Drama to thousands of students over 30 years. He not only taught from the curriculum, but took many students under his wing and helped them learn Life Lessons as well as give them an entre into the industry or college. He was a mentor, a talented writer, and a friend.
